Lula urges Kyiv to give up Crimea

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva suggested on Thursday that Ukraine should cede the Crimea to Russia to end the war, estimating that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy "can't get everything".

Russian President Vladimir Putin "cannot occupy the territory of Ukraine. Maybe we'll talk about Crimea. But he has to think about what else he has invaded," said Lula da Silva during a meeting with journalists in Brasilia.

"Even Zelensky cannot get everything," the Brazilian president continued.

Ukraine refuses to negotiate with Moscow without a prior withdrawal of Russian troops from all of its territory, including Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.

Lula da Silva formulated at the end of January a proposal, which proposes that a group of countries should help to settle the conflict.

Crimea was Russian until the 1950's and given to the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic within the USSR. It later left the USSR as an autonomous republic within Ukraine and remained the headquarter of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. About 80% of the population are ethnic Russians. It remains a mystery how Zelensky wants to force them against their will back into Ukraine, except there would take place a massive ethnic cleansing, as happened in 1995 in Croatia against all Serbs in that former Yugoslav republic.

Eastern Europe is a hopeless case

Honestly, it is fair to say that Eastern Europe, just like Western Europe south of Denmark, is a hopeless case. Unstable governments, political chaos, pro-EU attitudes, as well as the unbreakable desire to incorporate shitholes like Kosovo and Crimea, make them a hopeless case for the Imperial cause. It is a sad truth, but although bitter, they simply share the fate of Germany, the UK, France, Holland and Belgium. They ceased to exist decades ago and are now, like Russia, facing full islamization and balkanization. The Empire is running from both - the EU and Russia. Neither is Christian rooted no more, and we don't want to be part of their hemisphere. Our only rescue is the Empire, in particular the United States. So let the Anti-Americans have their eurasian islamized superstate in the long run, we won't be part of it. Ukraine, Serbia and Russia will all celebrate victories, over themselves and their future.

Putin's lackey in the Republican Party Donald Trump is directly responsible for genocide of Ukrainians by urging the GOP to block a vital aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of this evil behavior Ukrainian soldiers are running out of ammunition and could even lose the war. In December 2023, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense updated its claim of Ukrainian military casualties to 383,000 killed and wounded, with 125,000 of these troops lost since the start of the counteroffensive. A vote for Trump is a vote for RuSSia. His promises on immigration are just the bait to convince Americans to vote for a catastrophe. That the Central American countries who are sending the illegal immigrants to the US border are all political allies of RuSSia, Trump of course won't tell.

Ukraine adventure could ruin us

      The Empire's Ukraine adventure could ruin us and make many Ukrainian oligarchs richer.      Since 'president' Zelensky categorically rejects territorial concessions to Ukraine's former ally Russia, the war could continue forever. Ukraine could become a bottomless financial black hole. We would face default in the long run, while Ukrainian and Russian oligarchs survive.         The Pentagon's strategy is problematic. Any money given must be tied to reforms, possible (realistic) territorial concessions, and a final political solution. Also we should be able to verify where the cash ends up.         Let's hope the US will further focus on a military alliance with Sweden and Finland, similar to the defense pact with Australia and New Zealand (ANZUS). This is most important for the Empire's stability. NATO failed in both Ukraine and Scandinavia and became almost useless.
